(US Commerce News)A group of reporters from 40 media outlets from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan gathered in Guangzhou on May 20, where they embarked on a three-day trip in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area to cover the development progress of the region.

The activity is part of a series of events of the Media Summit of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, which was held in Guangzhou on May 19. A total of 16 media outlets from Hong Kong, 17 from Macao, and seven from Taiwan participated in the event.

The media group will be split to cover two routes, the Guangzhou-Zhongshan-Zhuhai route and Guangzhou-Dongguan-Shenzhen route. At the Media Summit of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Huang Kunming, member of the Communist Party of China Central Committee Political Bureau, said the Greater Bay Area, an 11-city cluster, has an abundance of stories worth reporting. Media outlets were encouraged to tell the country and the world stories about development in the Greater Bay Area.
